Hrm.. whats new... whats new.. ah yes.... well, the first weekend is over in my winter vacation... and.. what did i do? i sat here the whole time. excellent, isnt it? i sure think so.... so.. what did i do?.. miscilaneous things.. mostly i played aorund with software... in the first screenshot here im playing with winamp in linux.. playing with the avs... i got it to do fullscreen at 1600x1220 at 32bbp and it rand perfectly.. lol, pretty cool considering...

Anyways... then.. i got bored and went on a software update run.. and.. i was finally able to get Totem, a xine-lib gtk2 frontend... it kicks ass.. i was estatic.... in the next screenshot.. its basically me playing around w/ totem...

Hrm.. then.. sunday morning chris must have been bored and he found a perl:gtk frontend to some software called transcode to rip and encode dvd's... we were all estatic.. lol, so.. i riped and encoded star wars episode 2... took about 1 hour... lol, however.. i was not exactly happy w/ the quality i had in the end.. heh.. so, ill have to fiddle around and refine the settings to get it just right... heh.. or so i hope i am able to do... and succeede... heh.. anyways.. yea... all this in linux.. whee i love linux... gnome2 kicks ass tooo.... lol, heh.. anyways...

later today.. i have to get up at early 0800 in the morning. bwah! i have one of those driver things ... im going to try and get my liscence this week... my permit expires the 28th..lol, so its now or.. basically never till im 18.. lol, if i dont get it well then... screw it untill im 18... lol... i dont leave my house anyways, and my friends can drive me around when we all go and hang out... ... lol, anyways... yea...
