This is so true

I found this on digitallyimported.com, DI Radio... and its sooo very true, here's the quote:
"I am known to the listeners as Ari, (or DJ Ari for fun because I used to select a lot of the content for the channels in the beginning), and I am just a guy who likes good music. My main reason for having this radio station is because I want to introduce music that most people in United States have no clue about. Living in New York City and supposedly having access to a few of "the best" radio stations, just confirms my idea of the sad state of affairs with these radio stations.

My point is that United States, (and since this station was started people tell me it's all over, not just US), is really missing out on great music. It seems they want very little to do with European stuff, and just play the Backstreet Boys and alike over and over again. The really pathetic thing is that once in a blue moon I hear a decent, so so track from Europe on these radio stations, and not only the track is played a year after it originally came out, but it quickly makes its way up to top 10. This is when the same track is way old in Europe already, and was never a big hit to start from, just because there is so much more and better music. That just tells me that many people really like European stuff in United States, but for whatever reasons the radio stations just stick to their own US crap. And of course you cannot buy any good European music from the main record stores in US either.(digitallyimported.com - About Page, DJ Ari)"
