Wow, 3 pictures today...aint that quite a many.. well.. there hasnt been a post in a while, so i figured id make this one biger... yes....Well then.. in the past few days i have discovered quite a few things.... where shall i start today... ah, ill start VNC...
Yes, well... my dad showed me VNC.. and.. i was like.. thats cool.. but, the way he was using it.. he was using twm as the window manager.. and.. that wasnt very attractive to me.. so, as i was at moorpark at the class i take there... i got bored and looked into it.. and.. i tried and.. i got gnome and sawfish runing in the vnc.... and... thats when i was like.. cooooooooool... for those of you who are unfamiliar with what VNC is... it is like PC anywhere... just not proprietary.. vnc like pc anywhere lets you take control or, use your computer from somewhere else through the internet... its very cool... very very very.. lol, the first picture is a screenshot of.. my screen (you can fidn the highrez in the album archive under the screenshot album) as you can see, im runing vncviewer and.. viewing my windows desktop.. meaning.. i never actually have to use my windows computer, physicaly ever again... just.. virtualy instead... yea! lol.. hrm... anyways..
the next thing i discovered was.. or, not discovered but got working *chris and i spent an hour or two trying to get this to work for each other, as... we were never able to get it to work..* Well.... what im talking about is.. image and video capture of my video card's tunner... now i can take snapshots and record tv! yes! (thats what the 2 other images up there are... one Conan O'Brien and the other Dark Angel)....... now, all i lack is getting sound to record in video capture.. but... thats probably because somewhere the sound isnt getting to the recording device somewhere in m hardware setup or config's.... yepp... anyways... yes! TV Snapshots!! coolness....
The third thing, is audiogalaxy.com.... audiogalaxy... kicks ass.. iv'e heard of it before.... and.. never realy though much of it because i always was satisfied with winmx... but.. now.. audiogalaxy kicks soooo much more ass then winmx... winmx is obsolete by audiogalaxy... audiogalaxy almost guarantees the download of the song i search for... at maximum speeds too.... at the specified bit rate i want it at... its sooo cool, i grabed a few hundred megs in under 2 hours... its... sooo cool... thus.. at the end of this.. i attached my whole /media/mp3 direcotry tree with content listing.. just.. for the ppl who are bored to look at.... lol.. yes, and.. no i didnt download all those over audiogalaxy... barely any of them there.. im just.. attaching the list because i can... no relation to audiogalaxy.. lol, anyways... . hrm...
i found a cool song... perpetuous dreamer - Dust Wave.... cool vocals with trance... sounds good... lalalalalalalalalalalalalalala... yes, anyways.. hrm.. so many mp3s... wheeeeee, i love music...
hrm.. anything else i was gona say.. hrm.. oh! Epiar! Epiar is ... wow... epiar.. lol, Get ready for Epiar 0.14... it looks very different from Epiar 0.13!!! It's also progressing very rapidly.. Open Source development kicks ass... very fast passed too.. its insane.. we started getting patches from random ppl.. its cool, lol.. hrm... anyways... is that it? Yes, i think thats it for today, as... i cant really remember if i had anything else to say... Its weekend again, and.. this is good.. 2 days no school; excelent... anyways, till next posting...
